You always see idea’s that are super cute at friends houses, the hours you spend on Pinterest or scrolling through your facebook timeline. Well, this post is one that I actually completed. I am so excited on how it turned out!
Making an Outdoor Tic Tac Toe Game
Things you will need:
- Base
- Rocks
- Craft Paint
- Brushes and Q tips
- Ruler
Base- I got the base from a old centerpiece. If you have the tools to cut your own make sure it’s large enough to have a proper playing space. You could also visit your local Craft Store, Dollar Store or Hardware Store.
Rocks- Same Idea or from your garden if you have those there.
Craft Paint-You will need the 3 basic colours; Black, Red and Yellow. You can mix up the choices depending on what you would like. You may have to paint a few layers on the rock to get the desired colours.
Brushes- If you don’t want to wash between each colour, I picked up a pack that had 5 in the pack varying in sizes. I used Q tips for the lady dots.
Ruler- Depending on the size of game board, creating the lines to fit the board with the same width and length.
One extra step is spraying them a gloss finish. They come in a spray paint style and would protect the paint for a season. Once complete and dry.. Find your opponent and chalk up the wins!
